High-capacity, versatile 314 Ah lithium battery
The Scout 12.8v 314 Ah Lithium Battery is your optimal mid-sized powerhouse with 12.8v nominal voltage and M8 connection terminals which is standard for many applications, providing easy integration into most electrical setups. With 4000 watt-hours discharge capacity and expandability to meet any power needs, the Scout will easily and reliably power your vehicle, navigation systems and onboard electronics and devices (without impacting performance). Use 2, 3 or even 4 Scouts together to increase capacity further and give you even longer running time (expandability refers only to parallel connection to identical batteries of the same voltage).
With the Scout 12.8v 314 Ah Lithium Battery you can enjoy extended run time between charges and long-range cruising, with high-power output and less weight onboard. Its compact size (367mm x190mm x276mm) provides the high-capacity energy storage you need, without the space constraints. The Scout will charge and discharge between temperatures of 0-60C° and will continue to discharge to -20C°, making it versatile for use in both hot and cold climates for the flexibility and freedom you need.

314 Ah lithium battery designed for efficiency and longevity
The Scout 12.8v 314 Ah Lithium Battery features an durable lightweight design with high-energy density to handle frequent charge-discharge cycles and delivery of consistent power over a longer life cycle of up to around 10 years (depending on usage). It also has a 5A active balancer installed for active cell balancing to optimise the health and efficiency of the battery and protect against degradation. It’s built with EVE Battery MB31 EV grade cells, ABS style casing and robust construction for durability in demanding environments (like marine or off-road vehicles) for withstanding vibrations, shocks and temperature variations.
Each battery manufactured by PowerPaul Australia features the latest software and extensive set-up procedures. We tailor and refine BMS performance for protection from damage due to faults (such as over/under voltage or over current) and the highest accuracy and SOC readings possible, so your system runs perfectly. Every battery is calibrated, load-tested and fully cycled at least twice to confirm and rate its capacity and quality. The design of the battery internals, bus bars, BMS program settings and firmware is all done in-house by our team with a high level of experience, expert knowledge and testing.
Bluetooth connectivity, accessories and display options
A key feature of the Scout 12.8v 314 Ah Lithium Battery is the Daly 250A BMS (battery management system) which has Bluetooth so you can connect to your Scout for remote monitoring using the Apps available for iPhone and Android. Monitor charging and discharging status and use it as a handy tool for fault-finding within your electrical system (this is good for checking if there’s an appliance accidentally left on). Rename and personalise your battery in your Bluetooth list of devices.

The Scout 12.8v 314 Ah Lithium Battery also features a high-quality LED display showing charge status and a manual button for BMS reset (this button also wakes up the battery if it has gone to sleep after being fully discharged). You can choose from an internal or external display, either standard or enhanced. The Regular Display provides a quick approximate SOC visual guide in 4 steps. The Enhanced Display provides a four-bar visual SOC display as well as voltage, current, temperature, status and SOC reading.

Batteries should always be housed in a clean and dry location away from possible road debris and spray. The Scout can be mounted upright or on its side (even standing on the non-terminal end) if you have an RV with limited space under the bed. I purchased a scout battery after following the guys at extreme auto’s pages for a couple of years . The battery has performed as expected from such a high quality product . we have been on the road for a month soild mostly off grid and it has just worked in the background and taken the anxiety out of constantly checking battery levels . Ordered my battery on Wednesday- received in Sydney Friday- awesome. Now installed and couldn’t be happier- my battery reads 327 aH as opposed to the claimed 314aH- another great positive.
Best part is I replaced 2 x 100aH ritar agms and in less space I have a single battery with 327ah!!!!

Great product great service
I want to provide some feedback. Yesterday I contacted Paul to see if he could make some time for me to have vent kits installed on our older 2 x V3 Scouts which we transferred from our old van to the new one. We were heading to Mount Beauty 7 to 13 September and were going to make a trip see Paul to get them fitted. We live in southern Sydney so it would otherwise be difficult to get it done. Paul called me and said he would be near our house today so he would drop in and do the kits here. Not only did he put the vents in but looked at our BMS and updated the firmware for both. This was time consuming as they take a while. While this was happening we discussed various aspects of my installation as well as the business in general. At no time did I feel rushed or my questions were tiresome. Paul was genuinely interested in assisting and gave his time freely. It is very rare a manufacturer would go out of their way to make a detour to help out a customer the way Paul did. This is why I have bought 2 Scouts, my brother 4, a friend bought a Cub and my son a Nifty. The quality of the product is 1st class and the service is Platinum.
