I love the Scout Lite series and as a small installer use them primarily as I have external battery monitors (Victron and Junctek) in the mainly Motorhome installs that I do. They are a "mighty beast" when you consider the power, capacity and flow (250Amps for a 3000W inverter yes please) and are an easy upgrade (less than $1 per Ah more) for factory supplied batteries that are inferior in size/weight and woefully deficient in running anything 240V off grid such as a microwave or kettle. The PPA team is also super responsive to ordering requests, custom needs and provide a great customer experience, I will continue to use them for my installations and recommend them to many others in the Motorhome group that I'm part of

So I had a million questions and each of them was answered with prompt detail. Paul certainly showed a lot of patience with all my inquiries. As for the Scout…. I can’t fault it and it surely has exceeded my expectations. Very impressed with the product and customer service.

Very Happy with my two PowerPaul Scouts, (alias Sonny & Cher ! ) Paul is a professionally, dedicated to the trade and in my opinion, these Australian made batteries are by far the best currently available in this country .

Bought 2x scouts nearly a year ago have them installed in our caravan with 3000/120/12 inverter. They run aircon, microwave etc etc. Can not fault them.

I have had 3 of the original Scouts in my trailerable liveaboard boat for a few years now, with a Victron 3000w Multiplus inverter & 900watts of solar. They haven't missed a beat. They run a large bushman fridge freezer, an Evakool 50 freezer, Electric frypan, induction stove, 12v HWS etc. No gas required! I am very happy with the batteries and the service that goes with them.
